Job Summary:
The Accountant will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks to support our financial operations. This includes maintaining financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and excellent analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS).
Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is a plus.
A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
