Accounting Coordinator

Position Overview: 
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Coordinator to support our finance department in various accounting and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, expense reports, and payments.
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a monthly basis.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Assist with payroll processing and related tasks.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments and invoices.
Maintain vendor and customer files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
Provide administrative support to the finance department, including filing, data entry, and general office tasks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with payroll processing is a plus.
