Job Description
Our thriving, multidisciplinary Water Resources Engineering team in California is looking for a Civil Engineer to join the growing team in our Oakland office. AECOM’s Global Water Team is involved in high profile, industry leading infrastructure projects in the US and overseas including a variety of significant projects for Local and National Governments, Water Authorities, and many other clients. We work on projects through all stages from feasibility through design, construction, operation, maintenance, and asset management.
Some of the key responsibilities of the position are expected to include:
Participate as a member on teams providing analysis and design support for technical and feasibility studies for a variety of water infrastructure projects.
Assist with development of conceptual layouts and designs including development of supporting calculations and analyses.
Assist with development of plans, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates.
Assist with structural analysis and design calculations.
Participate as field and/or office engineering technician during construction projects.
Assist with preparation of technical reports and memoranda.
