We are seeking a self-motivated Junior SEO Specialist eager to jump in and craft their content and technical SEO skills. This person should be comfortable working through a task list and able and willing to think critically about the client or project to decipher any potential areas for improvement. We are looking for someone who is quick to collaborate and jump in with ideas and thoughts but is also comfortable working through projects alone.
The SEO team is responsible for improving Organic rankings, site health, and site authority for our clients. We work to increase high-quality traffic for our clients through a combination of technical site optimization, including backend and CMS updates, structured data, and highly compelling content that is strategic and user-focused for optimal rankings.
As Jr SEO Specialist, you will join a team of dedicated software engineers, designers, product owners, QA engineers, and project managers committed to delivering exceptional products and services to our client partners.
What You Will Do
Handles numerous engagements simultaneously
Scan and audit the clients digital presence for potential areas of improvement Conduct Keyword Research
Identify and resolve technical SEO issues in Content Management Systems and Websites
Execute strategic on-page SEO optimization
Perform Search App Optimization
Write SEO content such as:
H1 tags
Title tags
Meta descriptions
Alt Text
Structured Data
Schema
Monitor and analyze SEO performance with SEO Tools
Google Tag Manager
Analytics
Google Search Console
Bing Webmaster Tools
SEMRush
MOZ
Screaming Frog
Google Trends
Keyword Finder
Mangools
Dashboards and reports
Stay up to date on the latest SEO trends
Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
Naturally organized personality
Detail-oriented with good time management and task management skills. Enjoys autonomy and flexibility and embraces change.
Embodies excellent communication skills - both written and verbal. Understands technical details and best practices related to search. Desire to learn and grow both personally and professionally. Capability to think long-term and understand the big picture Understanding of and interest in digital technology and marketing Knowledge of SEO Tools
Previous experience with Search Engine Optimization, dev ops, or digital marketing is a plus
Copywriting experience is a plus
Agency experience is a plus
