Tax Manager - CPA

As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing multiple operations of the tax practice area, delivering quality tax services, and contributing to the firm's reputation. Responsibilities:
Utilize your expertise in taxation, including flow through taxation, partnerships, and S-corporations
Provide tax compliance, planning, and advisory services to clients
Review work papers prepared by staff, recommend changes, and implement additional documentation based on applicable tax law and firm policy
Supervise and mentor tax associates and senior associates to ensure timely and efficient completion of tax engagements
Participate in business development activities to expand the client base, including attending networking events and industry meetings, and contributing to thought leadership initiatives
Requirements
Active CPA license is required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on Tax
Strong knowledge of tax accounting, compliance, and all types of tax returns
Proficiency in tax software and MS Office
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and deadline management skills
Exceptional client service and relationship-building abilities
Strong leadership and personnel management skills
Willingness to travel locally as needed
Authorized to work for any employer in the United States
