Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Charter Compliance 
Works closely with the MDCIM to develop and maintain project plans for the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) charter maintenance. This includes but is not limited to; renewals, amendments, and applications.
Tracks mandatory employee training, including; Bullying Prevention and Intervention, Mandated Reporting, Civil Rights, Title IX, Restraint and Seclusion, and McKinney-Vento.
Manages and streamlines communication and tracking of the core set of compliance and advocacy related activities for KIPP MA.
 
Data Management & Reporting
Maintains and submits to DESE, district data as it relates to; grants management, Title I and School and District Report cards.
Maintains the State Gateway Directory Administration as well as the Direct Certification Portal.
Fulfills FERPA compliant Public Information Requests, including requests from other school districts.
Analyzes performance and compliance data and provides guidance and recommendations on how to respond to the data.
 
Title IX
In conjunction with the MDCIM, ensures timely investigation and resolution of all reports of sex discrimination, sexual misconduct, and sexual harassment involving members of the KIPP MA community.
Meets with complainants and respondents to provide information regarding the KIPP MA Title IX complaint process, available resources, supportive measures, the reporting process and resolution options.
Assists with Title IX investigations through complainant, respondent, and witness interviews. 
Develops and maintains a comprehensive and confidential case management system that includes each reported Title IX complaint.
 
Special Projects
Works on or manages special projects related to charter health as they arise. Currently, this may include:
Grants management
McKinney Vento
Incident Management
Supports the Managing Director of Compliance and Information Management in developing strategic plans for compliance at KIPP MA.
Supports the development of updated compliance resources for charters in alignment with current state and federal regulations.

In addition to the responsibilities listed above, there will occasionally be other duties as assigned that staff will engage in to help promote a positive and safe learning environment and culture.
