Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to plan pipe layouts.
Cut, bend, and weld pipes according to specifications.
Install pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for commercial and industrial projects.
Inspect and test installed pipes and systems to identify leaks and ensure functionality.
Collaborate with other construction workers to complete projects on time.
Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
Cut, thread, and hammer pipes to specifications using various tools.
Requirements
Must have a minimum of 5 years of pipe fitting experience in commercial or industrial settings.
MUST be able to pass weld test
MUST be able to pass a fitter test
Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.
Proficient in the use of various hand and power tools.
Strong knowledge of pipe materials, installation techniques, and HVAC systems.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.
This position is located in Chester SC from May 2024 through January 2025
