Creekside Vet Clinic has a rare opening for a full-time Veterinary Assistant or technician. Creekside has been established since 1998, Dr Crowe has an outstanding reputation within and outside our community. You won't want to miss the opportunity to work under her and her wonderful staff. This position will be approximately 90% technician and 10% admin/front desk.

Requirements
Vetererinary Assistant (2 years)
·        Assist the veterinarian in exam rooms.
·        Obtain laboratory samples, venipuncture, IV catheter placement.
·        Run laboratory machines, including in-house tests.
·        Administer vaccines and medications, including prescription going home.
·        Obtain a thorough history from clients.
·        Assist in radiology.
·        Assist during surgeries and procedures.
·        Communicate effectively with clients.
·        Assist in stocking and maintenance of machines and clinic.
·        Know proper restraint.
