Responsibilities
Operate Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) for offshore surveying and engineering tasks
Conduct data collection and analysis using AUV sensors and systems
Utilize surveying techniques to collect accurate and reliable data
Apply engineering principles to interpret data and provide insights to support offshore projects
Collaborate with project teams to plan and execute AUV operations
Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the team
Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of AUV equipment
Produce comprehensive reports and documentation on surveying and engineering findings
Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in AUV operations
Requirements
Minimum 4 years of experience as an AUV Operator in the offshore industry
Strong background in surveying techniques and engineering principles
Proficiency in operating Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) and relevant sensors/systems
Experience with software for data collection and analysis
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations governing offshore operations
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Flexibility to work in offshore environments for extended periods
