Data protection and Cyber Security Officer - £26K - £28.8K - Remote/Hybrid
I'm working with a client in the public sector parking and traffic regulations industry who is looking for a recent Cyber Security graduate to be appointed as their Data Protection and Cyber Security Officer.
In this job you will:
Take ownership of and serve as the main point of contact for setting up and amending user profiles for the Case Management System (currently FOAM), ensuring adherence to IT policies.
Handle non-case Data Protection, FOI, and GDPR-related queries promptly and efficiently, providing high-quality, accurate, and customer-focused responses in writing, via email, and by telephone.
Work with the Technology Manager on reporting, managing, and rectifying breaches, errors, or issues affecting data security or integrity. Notify affected parties and escalate potentially serious issues within statutory timeframes.
To reduce the number of Security Incidents through risk management and keeping personal knowledge up to date on emerging trends and threats.
