Overview:

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Private Client Fee Earner to join our clients team. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support and advice to individual clients on a range of private client matters, including wills, trusts, probate, estate administration, and powers of attorney.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage a caseload of private client matters efficiently and effectively, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

2. Conduct initial client consultations to assess needs and provide tailored legal advice.

3. Draft and review legal documents such as wills, trusts, lasting powers of attorney, and estate administration papers.

4. Liaise with clients, beneficiaries, and other parties involved in the estate planning and administration process, maintaining clear communication throughout.

5. Handle complex legal issues and provide sound solutions, demonstrating a strong understanding of relevant legislation and case law.

6. Stay updated on changes in private client law and practice, continuously developing expertise in the field.

7. Collaborate with colleagues within the firm, including other legal departments and support staff, to ensure seamless service delivery.

8. Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all client interactions and matters.

Requirements:

1. Private Client fee earner with at least 3 years PQE or equivalent

2. Ability to deal with a varied caseload including wills, probate, power of attorney

3. Excellent time management and organisation skills

4. Excellent communication skills

5. Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
