Electrical Maintenance Technician - St Helens - Up to £43,940 Basic Salary & Excellent Benefits and Allowances.

Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join the Engineering Department. Reporting to the Engineering & Process Development Manager via the Plant Maintenance Engineer, this role involves maintenance, repair, modification, calibration, installation, and optimisation of plant/machinery across our site.

Key Responsibilities:

Actively participate in health and safety activities to ensure the highest standards are achieved.
Create, modify, and review risk assessments and standard operating procedures in accordance with Group Policy and industry best practice.
Diagnose electrical breakdowns, restore equipment functionality to minimise production downtime.
Perform preventative maintenance of plant, services, distribution, and alarm systems.
Conduct electrical works up to 415V, including live working when necessary.
Ensure proper reporting processes for maintenance activities and spare parts management.Requirements:

Completion of a time-served Electrical engineering apprenticeship.
Qualified to HNC/HND and/or equivalent NVQ in Electrical Engineering.
Flexibility to work within engineering/manufacturing teams and adhere to safe operating procedures.
Ability to work unsupervised, manage workload, and communicate effectively with team members and production.
