We have a fantastic opportunity for a very successful and well-established company based in St Albans.
They are looking for a Junior Designer to join their Design team. You will be full of ideas and able to lead on creative solutions for a variety of tasks, including innovative new product for core range launches, artwork amends, packaging, new products, web banners and assets.
You will be part of an energetic, exciting and creative work culture within a busy and varied role where you will have autonomy in a business that will reward hard work and offer excellent opportunities for future development.
Candidates must be able to drive due to lack of transport links

Key Responsibilities for the Junior Designer:
* Design creative and innovative new products and packaging that is commercially viable
* Create any Point of Sale or marketing tools that are required for individual products or product ranges/launches
* Follow our fast-moving product development process in close collaboration with your product team
* Be aware of what competitors are developing and selling at all times.
* Gain an understanding target markets and costs
* Brainstorming and researching new ideas
* Assist in managing product archive
* Assist with Trade Shows as well as product launches
For this Junior Designer role the client is looking for:
* An understanding of the adobe creative suite is important, particularly Illustrator
* Strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
* Attention to detail
* Flexible and adaptable
