Uniform Education are working with an OUTSTANDING primary school in Plaistow, East London, who are looking for a full time Year 6 Teacher and Year Group Lead from September. If you are not interested in the TLR they are also open to hiring a Class Teacher without the Leadership TLR.

Year 6 Class Teacher & Year Group Leader

Salary: MPS (Inner London) UPS will be considered + TLR 2a

The Year 6 cohort is 2 forms however is split between 4 teachers in the morning where could be teaching groups of 15-20 children.

We are looking for an experienced class teacher to lead Year 6. The role involves leading a specific year group, assisting with the development of the curriculum, allocation of resources, modelling good practice and assisting the Teaching and Learning Director to provide an exceptional curriculum for our pupils ahead of their transition to Secondary. The specific subject responsibilities are to be agreed on appointment based on the successful candidate's interest and ability, and then reviewed annually.

This role is not suitable for ECTs.
