We are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller, to join the team at our client, based in Birmingham City Centre.
They are an international distributor of FMCG goods to major supermarkets and many convenience stores.
This is a permanent vacancy. You will be a direct employee, from day one.

£28K - £32K per annum

The Role – Credit Controller
Working as part of a small team to chase payment of outstanding invoices
Collectively managing up to 2000 accounts
Liaising with Sales Account Managers in order to collaborate on the timely collection of monies owed
Sending out standard communications to collect debt - emails, letters etc
Making telephone calls to arrange payment of invoices
Contributing to strategic and procedural improvements
The Candidate
Must have:
A proven track record of successfully managing the credit control function
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Sage
Experience with credit control software and accounting systems
