Our client a well-known food production company are looking for general assistants to join their busy Crawley operation supporting Gatwick airport.

Role - General Assistant/ pick & pack
Location- Crawley, RH10
Shifts - Day shift / must be flexible to work any 5 days out of 7 including weekends.
Hours - 06AM - 14PM/ 14PM - 22PM
Pay - £11.44 per hour.
Start date - Immediate.DUTIES

Plating food items on tray / preparing ingredients / packing items.
To check all products prior to packing.
To ensure all airline products are packed / loaded to specification.
Pack carts to the required standard and in accordance with passenger numbers.
Ensuring stock levels are maintained to the required levels.
Stock is rotated to get maximum shelf life.
Record, report breakages i.e., china, glass.REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

The ability to demonstrate great teamwork, willingness to learn.
Fully flexibility required.
MUST be able to handle all kinds of meat and alcohol.* SECURITY CHECKS *

As this role is connected to a major UK airport applicants must be willing for Avtav to complete the following process on their behalf in line with Aviation Security Regulations.

5-year employment history check
UK criminal record check
International criminal record check if in the country for more than 6 months
Relevant aviation security training completed in house by Avtav (not cost to applicant)
