Advanced Recruit are recruiting on behalf of their client in the Dudley area for a skilled and experienced Flat bed Laser Setter / Operator.
Job Role
* Quality focused and able to work on own initiative
* Using Flatbed Amada & Bystronic laser machines
* Using measuring equipment such as verniers and micrometres
* Liaising with the office on new drawings/programmes
* Working with mild steel
Experience/Requirements
* Team player Reliable, hardworking and able to work under pressure
* 3+ years setting and operating flatbed Amada laser machine would be advantageous.
* The ability to read from engineering drawings would be advantageous.
The Package
* Starting pay rate will be £13 per hour before transferring onto nights.
* working late afternoons 15:00 - 01:00 Monday to Thursday
* 12 week temporary to permanent contract
* Pay rate is reviewed once the 12 weeks are completed
* Overtime would be available when appropriate
