Responsibilities for the Sales Manager:

As Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's sales strategy, enjoying significant autonomy to shape and lead the sales department's growth and expansion.

* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company growth targets.

* Manage sales activities for new machinery sales, spares and aftermarket services.

* Travel to meet customers and prospects within the UK and internationally.

* Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and long-term customer relationships.

* Successfully negotiate with customers on prices and contract terms.

* Oversee and enhance marketing initiatives, directly influencing the company's market presence and strengthening its brand identity.

* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.

* Prepare sales forecasts and reports for senior management.

* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of bespoke machinery solutions.

* Ensure customer satisfaction and handle any escalations effectively.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in a Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, or Sales Engineer role.

* A strong track record in selling engineered machinery or related products.

* Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

* A strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

* A proactive, results-oriented approach with a strong drive for success.

* Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.

* Willingness to travel extensively within the UK and internationally.
