Our client is a specialist provider of financial education and guidance in the workplace supported by regulated financial advice for individuals.
They help employees understand how to maximise workplace savings and benefits by delivering financial guidance which is tailored to individual needs.
The business looks after hundreds of household names as clients, within the private and public sectors of the UK. Their regulated financial advice helps individuals to understand their financial situation, whether they’re saving for their future or selecting retirement income options.
Excitingly, they are now recruiting additional headcount in their Educational team for Financial Coaches to join.
These positions deliver financial education programmes to employees of corporate and public sector clients. You’ll be engaging with the employees during the delivery of online and face-to-face seminars, webinars and webcasts to introduce services of the business, including financial guidance and non-regulated advice.
You’ll be the companies brand ambassador to represent the business in a helpful, friendly and professional manner supporting new business opportunities as well as existing relationships.
Responsibilities
* Delivery of educational seminars, webinars and webcasts on a range of financial, tax and related subjects
* To provide technical support to colleagues within the Financial Coaches team and across the business
* To assist in the development of new modules and research
* To keep up to date on changing legislation, e.g. pensions, taxation, investments
* Produce ideas for employee education, e.g. subject matter and delivery methods
* Assist in the design of new education modules as required
* To meet presentation standards and agreed with clients
* Being passionate and demonstrate behaviours in line with the company’s ethos, vision and key principles
Skills & Experience
* Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills
* Clear and confident written, as well as verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas, concepts and solutions both internally and externally
* Broad retail financial services knowledge, especially UK pensions, including: defined benefit schemes, defined contribution schemes, employee share plans and other investments
* Presenting to an audience/group, training or educational delivery
* Experience of developing technical presentations
* Keen interest in research of tax regulations and regulatory guidelines, whilst also communicating them to other team members and clients
Desirable Qualifications
* Diploma in Financial Planning
* Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning
* CII Pensions modules: Pension Income Options J05, Pensions and Retirement Planning R04, Pensions G60
