We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Behaviour Mentor to join our team in Castle Bromwich (B34) on a full time basis.
This position will commence in September.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with students, teachers, and parents to support the social and emotional well-being of students, fostering positive behaviour and creating a conducive learning environment.
The Role:
As a Behaviour Mentor, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Building positive and nurturing relationships with students.
* Providing one-on-one and group mentoring to address challenging behaviours.
* Implementing behaviour management strategies and interventions.
* Supporting students' social and emotional development.
* Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external professionals to create individualized support plans.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Resilience and the ability to effectively manage challenging behaviours.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Empathy and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on children's lives.
* A patient and understanding approach to working with children with complex needs.
