M&E Manager

We are currently working with a well respected main contractor with a turnover of £800m with a varied sector experience across the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe who are looking for an MEP Manager to join their midlands business unit to deliver a notable £15m M&E industrial distribution centre project near Northampton.

As MEP manager you report to a regional Engineering Lead and work alongside the construction teams acting as the MEP specialist to successfully manage and motivate subcontractors to completion.

Your day to day will include: Assisting with the selection of sub-contractors to tender from the supply chain Responsible for assisting with the management of the commissioning process and compliance of as built and maintenance manuals Collate the team's Project reports and provide a summary report to the Technical Director relating to the projects that your team has supervised Review Technical Submittals from sub contractors Checking Installation Quality. You will have autonomy to manage your own diary spending time on each project as you deem necessary with home working on days when off site working is required. Their head office is in Birmingham where your presence may be required occasionally for critical meetings. The company in question have an exciting order book of projects across the industrial, commercial and data centre sectors.
