R&D Engineer

The business specialise in bespoke machinery for a number of different industries, offering comprehensive turn-key solutions for their clients.
As an R&D Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, driving the development of next-generation machinery and equipment. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualise, design, test and prototype solutions that push the boundaries of technology.
Responsibilities of an R&D Engineer:
Conducting research to identify emerging technologies and industry trends.
Designing and developing prototypes using CAD software and other tools.
Collaborating with engineering teams to integrate new technologies into existing products.
Conducting performance tests and analysing data to optimise machinery efficiency.
To provide technical support for live development projects , driving concepts and solutions to final product launch
Produce and execute thorough test plans
Working collaboratively with other internal teams to create concept and detailed technical solutions
Requirements of an R&D Engineer:
A qualification in Engineering (Degree/HNC/HND)
Proven experience in research and development within a manufacturing environment (at least 2 years)
Proficiency in 3D CAD Software
Strong analytical and Problem solving skills
