An innovative and new to the market construction consultancy are looking to bring in an ambitious Project Manager to join their thriving team based in Manchester.
You will be part of a relatively new and energetic team who are all pulling in the same direction as the business has seen a huge increase in work demand which has brought success as well as the need to expand and grow now.
You will be working closely with the rest of the Project Managers and Surveyors delivering on some complex and intriguing projects all within the high end commercial world as well as delving in industrial shed schemes as well as one off sporting venues making this a very varied and enjoyable role.
The Practice are happy to consider Project Managers who are working towards their MRICS, MCIOB or MAPM who are pushing towards senior level or perhaps senior level PM's who feel they are not far off becoming Associate level.
Perfect role if you like the idea of joining a smaller outfit with less red tape and less corporate feel which is something they are eager to keep throughout the business.
Duties/Requirements:
Conduct feasibility studies, including site surveys, site investigation, site evaluation etc
Interview and select contractors for tendering or negotiation, evaluate tenders received and appoint contractor
Inspect and monitor the construction works with regard to quality and conformity to agreed specifications and drawings
Prepare regular reports to clients on all aspects of the project including progress, programme, costs, risks and quality management
Client liaising and chairing meetings throughout the project life cycle
Ideally having relevant qualifications being MRICS/MAPM/MCIOB or working towards such qualifications
Previous construction/property consultancy experience as a Project Manager will be essential for this role
