Production Shift Supervisor

Permanent Nights (Monday-Friday)
A globally recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Production department with the appointment of a Production Shift Supervisor.
As Production Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervision of production on site, ensuring a safe working environment and satisfying all customer demands.
Working from their manufacturing facility in Shropshire, the Production Shift Supervisor will be responsible for:
*Guarantee a safe working environment
*Ensure all production processes conform to current quality standards
*Manufacture quality parts in time to satisfy customer demand
*Improve production processes and lead improvement teams
*Lead root cause analysis of non-conforming production and implement corrective actions
*Daily organisation of Production Operators
*Complete performance reviews to improve team performance and flexibility
*Lead team performance via KPI’s and OEE to achieve targets
*Out of hours contact with Customers
*Promote the companies HSE policies across the department and plant and adhere to all
*Health and Safety environmental requirements
The successful candidate should be educated to HNC Engineering level or similar within proven Supervisory experience.
