Position: SEMH Maths Teacher for Secondary School

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess Maths lessons that are engaging, differentiated, and tailored to meet the needs of students with SEMH.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other staff members.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student confidence and motivation.
Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and other staff members.
Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student well-being and academic growth.
Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the wider school community.
Key Skills and Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Maths.
Experience teaching in an SEMH setting, with a strong understanding of various social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop and adapt teaching materials to suit individual student needs.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with SEMH students.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a dynamic classroom environment.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
