The Project Coordinator is responsible for reviewing, planning, and developing building projects and for coordinating and overseeing project correspondence among clients, contractors, consultants, and the firm.
·         Generates design ideas and participates in design charrettes
·         Researches, programs, plans, and designs building projects (designs and floorplans) for clients
·         Creates initial schematic design, design development, and construction documents by drawing or managing staff drawings (including redlining), visiting site for measurement and performing code analysis as needed
·         Drafts floor plans, elevations, and sections for projects in a variety of sizes
·         Draws plans in Revit (using AutoCAD as needed)
·         Assists with development of specifications and material selections for a project
·         Conducts preliminary code and zoning research for all projects
·         Adjusts budgets and estimates based on client budget
·         Models existing site conditions
·         Models exterior and interior design elements
·         Assists project managers with project documents, design drawings, and reports
·         Attends project meetings with project manager to take minutes and photos of project process
·         Assists with project correspondents between clients/contractors/consultants, primarily by emailing project documents, meetings dates, and project updates
·         Visits construction sites and performs basic construction administration duties
·         Presents designs to clients
·         Sets up project sheets with titles and drawings
·         Prepares punch list and checks for completion
·         Prepares digital and printed client presentations
·         Renders all aspects of a project
·         Sets up and takes out renderings and animations
·         Performs post production editing on both renderings and animations
·         Greets clients and answers company voicemail
 
Requirements
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
·         Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in architecture
 
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:
·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, Lumion, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Bluebeam, some Procore, AutoCAD a plus
