Machine / Assembly Operator

InstaStaff are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator / Assembly Worker to join our prestigious engineering client based in the Heart of Birmingham.
The duties of the Machine Operator / Assembly Worker:
* Working in a busy production environment.
* You will be Assembling parts and Machine operating.
* You will need to have good Attention to detail and have the ability to follow instructions accurately.
* You will be Quality inspecting parts and commencing final visual inspection of parts.
* Operate production equipment and machinery to assemble products according to specifications.
* Using measuring devices and reading production paperwork to complete orders.
* Operating Various machines.
* You will organise and Handle materials and supplies needed for production, including inventory management.
The right Machine Operator / Assembly Worker:
* You must be fully experienced in a Machine Operating / Assembly Operating role.
* You Must have a Minimum of 2 years experience in Factory, Assembling or Machine Operating work.
* You must Be able to Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet quality standard.
* You must be able to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
* You will need to have the ability to work under pressure.
* You must have good time keeping due to the nature of the business.
* You must possess good communication skills and have the ability to work effectively in a team.
Hours of work:
* 38 hours a week.
* Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:45.
* Friday 08:00 - 13:00.
This is a temporary to permanent position with the view to go permanent after the probationary period.
Pay for the position is £11.44 per hour
