As a self-motivated subcontractor with excellent communication skills, you'll be responsible for installing first and second fix twin and earth electrical systems and containment. Electrician/ Improver Hours of Work: Full-time, Monday - Friday
As part of our fixed wire team, you will be required to attend commercial businesses and carry out EICR testing, complete the test certificate and carry out remedials. Our Electrician responsibilities include PVC containment, wiring, terminating, tray and trunking, distribution boards, lighting and power. Our Electrical Improvers responsibilities include pulling cables, tie wrapping cables, installing, containment, second fix, lighting and power.
Successful candidates will be working either on their own or within a team, with a full support network around them, reporting into our engineering manager. We require you to be quality and safety focused, whilst also ensuring that cost effectiveness and high levels of customer satisfaction are maintained.
Qualifications required:
3 years’ experience of working within commercial buildings.
City and Guilds 2382 (17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations)
NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 part 1 & 2 qualification
Understanding of Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace
JIB gold card essential for Electricians
ECS/CSCS Card essential for Improvers
City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Test and Inspection) Certificate (desirable)
Electrician/ Improver Benefits:
Salary of £35,000 (depending on experience)
