Print House Liaison Assistant
Location: Alton, GU34 2QR
Salary: £24 - 25k, DOE + Benefits
Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: 08:30 – 16:45 (38.75 pw) flexi-time

Print House Liaison Assistant – About the role:
This role is responsible for coordinating with print houses, ensuring smooth communication, and assisting with artwork preparation. It requires excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Liaison with Print Houses:
• Act as the primary point of contact between our company and print houses.
• Communicate project requirements, timelines, and specifications clearly and effectively.
• Coordinate with print houses to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the printing process.
2. Artwork Support:
• Assist in the preparation and modification of artwork for print production.
• Ensure that artwork files meet the necessary specifications for printing.
• Collaborate with designers and other team members to optimize artwork for print quality.
3. Quality Control:
• Conduct thorough quality checks on printed materials to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective measures as needed.
• Maintain a high standard of quality throughout the print production process.
4. Documentation and Record-Keeping:
• Maintain detailed records of print specifications, project timelines, and communication with print houses.
• Organize and archive artwork files and other relevant documents for future reference.
5. Miscellaneous
• Further responsibilities to be added as necessary.
• Any other reasonable request.
Print House Liaison Assistant – Candidate, Skill & Experience:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with print house
representatives.
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work well under pressure.
• The ability to build relationships with all members of the PelGar team in Alton and Telford.
• GHS CLP knowledge and understanding of ECHA requirements - desirable.
• Previous experience with MRP systems
• Enthusiastic and proactive approach to work.
• Team player with a collaborative mindset.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership.
• Willingness to learn and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
