Laravel PHP Full Stack Developers seeking new interesting challenges would you be interested in working for an award-winning video platform as a service provider who currently serves the top TV, media, and sports brands globally (including Football, Rugby & Boxing)? Their AWS-hosted platform simplifies complex video streaming workflows, managing, and monetising live and on-demand video. Your work will at first focus on migration of the legacy content management system from ZEND to Laravel using the TALL stack (Tailwind, Alpine.js, Laravel, Livewire) with AWS.
This position is working hybrid with just 2 days per week in their offices in central London.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, support, and maintain APIs.
Enhance, support, and maintain their Content Management System.
Refactor code for maintainability.
Test, debug, and improve components for, scalability and security.
Provide technical support for applications.
Conduct peer code reviews.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Commercial experience with Laravel, JavaScript, Alpine.js, and Livewire.
Experience with large MySQL databases and Laravel Eloquent models.
Implementing and creating RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
Proficient in Git and OOP principles.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience with Tailwind CSS for UI designs.
Alpine.js, Laravel, Livewire, MySQL, Tailwind, AWS
Knowledge of Laravel Queues, Jobs, Horizon, AWS SQS, and related tools.
Familiarity with Composer, PHPUnit, Pest PHP, Laravel Dusk.
Experience with Docker, CI/CD tools, and AWS.
Background in video streaming or media.
