Draughtsperson

White Label is representing an engineering business in the Barnsley area who are looking to recruit a Draughtsperson permanently due to increased workload.

The role is focused on detailed design work using AutoCAD and Inventor for the design of steel fabrication.

Duties of the Draughtsperson

* Site surveys

* Create GA drawings.

* Produce manufacturing drawings.

* Liaise with customers answering any queries and following up on client specifications.

* Liaise with the site managers and contracts managers to ensure jobs run on time and the specifications are correct.

Experience required of the Draughtsperson

* Experience in designing sheet metal, fabrications, and structural steelwork.

* 2D & 3D CAD design experience

* Competent at site surveys

Salary depends on experience £35,000 - £45,000 + 20 days holiday + 1 extra day holiday per 4 years of service, Government pension scheme, private healthcare + flexible working hours.
