Role: Test Director
Location: Hague, Netherlands
Candidate must have a security clearance certificate.
What you would be required to do:
- Support the NCI Agency in the role of test director in the delivery of JISR interoperability
testing
- Manage, maintain and extend the overall test suite for JISR Centre
- Support testing initiatives and document test plans and test result reports
- Create tests in the NATO test management tool, to include automated test procedures
- Participate in different interoperability events/exercises where JTEE is used 6)
Frequent coordination with the NCI Agency project team.
Mandatory Requirements
- This post requires an individual who is suitably qualified and experienced in testing and
experimentation initiatives
- Higher secondary education and completed advanced higher level vocational training
in Electronics Engineering or Information Systems related discipline leading to a
professional qualification or professional accreditation or two year college diploma or
degree in Electronics Engineering or Information Systems with 6 years post relevant
experience
- Exceptionally, the lack of higher secondary education may be compensated by the
demonstration of a candidate’s particular abilities or experience that is / are of interest
to NCI Agency; that is, extensive and progressive expertise in the duties related to the
function of the post in fields directly related to the function of the post and 8 years post
related experience
- Experience as test engineer in interoperability events
- Knowledge of ISTQB foundation principles
- Experience using, supporting designing, operating, maintaining and testing virtualized
environments
- Valid security clearance at NATO SCRT level or higher
- Motivated, good written and oral communication skills, team player 9) Able to work
independently with minimal supervision
Desirable requirements
- Knowledge and experience of NATO JISR capabilities (e.g. NATO AGS, NAEW)
- Experience testing NATO Standards, like MIP, FFT, TDL, NVG, OTH-Gold, APP-11
- Knowledge of NATO Doctrine on conducting experimentation and capturing lessons
learned
- Knowledge and experience of JISR Systems used outside NCIA but that are
interconnected with NCIA systems (Open Sesame 3, ATENEA, DOPEC, etc.)
- Experience using, supporting designing, operating, maintaining and testing cloudbased
environments
