Hello,
My client is a leading supplier of food processing equipment and systems for various sectors. They are currently in need of a Cylindrical/Surface Grinder to join their team in Peterborough.
ROLE: To manufacture, to our drawings, parts that are supplied to our Assembly Shop or direct to customers
DUTIES:
* To operate manual machines
* Self-inspection of parts produced
* Work to defined schedules
* Work to planned times
* To be aware of and follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures including feeding back any H&S information to management
* Be aware of and demonstrate the company values and behaviours
SKILLS:
* Flexibility to work night shift (possible); also willingness to work overtime when required
* Able to interpret drawings and specifications
* Attention to quality
* Able to work well within a team environment and to offer improvement ideas
* High degree of self-motivation
* Flexibility to undertake other tasks in other areas
HOURS: 40 HR PER WEEK
* Days: Monday to Thursday 7.00 to 16.15 with 30 minute unpaid lunch break; Friday 7.00 -12.00.
* Nights: Monday to Tuesday 19.00 to 7.00 with 30 minutes unpaid break; Wednesday 19.30 to 7.00 with a 30 minutes unpaid break; Thursday 18.15 to 12.15

SALARY: £35,000 - £37,680 PER ANNUM
