Job Description
As a Resource Manager at Razorfish, your primary responsibility is to leverage your exceptional project management and people skills to promptly deliver high-quality staffing solutions including the management, fulfillment, and reporting of day-to-day staffing requests. You’ll effectively balance multiple high-priority assignments while developing partnerships across the business to provide the highest level of customer service.
You will collaborate with discipline leads to ensure target utilization of regions, understand current and predict future client resource needs, deliver reporting to project teams, lead status calls, work with team/project leadership to identify staffing gaps, and support the Director of Resource Management for any matter relating to resource management.
Specific Responsibilities:
Maintain team utilization targets and effectively pool and utilize resources from multiple offices
Oversee the direction, fulfillment, and reporting of day-to-day staffing requests with support from Capacity Partners
Contribute to reporting for utilization trends and forecasts
Initiate and manage staffing requests for both full time and contracting resources
Maintain and communicate key information to Capacity Partners about current projects, pipeline and resource forecast and provide daily job status updates to team members
Maintain an inventory of core skills and track team members’ skills by proficiency, frequency, and context of use
Ensure new hires are equipped to make an impact on their projects by providing project-specific guidance, familiarization, and training
Cast employees into open needs/working with Discipline leads to understand employee Strengths/Weakness/Growth Areas
Promote smooth workflow and communication between departments
Analyze and communicate availability levels for all departments
Ensure workflow progresses efficiently and projects/staff are juggled as priorities shift
Lead weekly staffing meetings
Understand capabilities (skill sets) and interests of resources and factor into staffing decisions
Maintain an inventory of core competency skills and track individual skills by proficiency, frequency, and context of use
Onboard new hires by preparing them for new assignments by providing project-specific guidance, familiarization, and training
