My client is a manufacturing organisation based in Salford. Due to continued growth of the business they are recruiting this newly created position into their vibrant and expanding finance function, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to develop and progress their career to becoming a qualified accountant.
As an Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for a variety of transactional and month end duties within the finance function. This will include managing the purchase and sales ledgers, reconciling the bank accounts and balance sheet, prepare and post payroll journals, accruals and pre-payments as well as preparing the monthly accounts including profit and loss and the balance sheet.
This role will suit a candidate who is working towards their CIMA or ACCA qualification and has experience in a varied transactional accounting role with exposure to month end processes.
