The Client
Our client are a stunning premium 4* hotel in Farnborough.
The Role
Our client are seeking an experienced and motivated Bar Manager to join our team. This is a role that will involve managing a team of 7 and a strong candidate should have extensive cocktail knowledge and experience within their career to date. As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations ensuring excellent guest service, managing the team, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
As Bar manager you will:
- Enforces performance standards, policies, and procedures in Beverage.
- Be Responsible for complying with all food and beverage health, liquor and safety regulations; as well as local applicable laws.
- Be Responsible for the scheduling, evaluating, training and succession planning of direct management and associated staff
• Ensures Bar floor operations are run in a smooth, efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maximise cost effectiveness within the Bar, by ensuring compliance with established budget,.
• Monitor job performance of all direct reports and provides feedback performance through appraisals
• Continue product development in liaison with the Food and Beverage Manager.
• Sets priorities, commercial targets and objectives within your team.
• Drive revenue for Afternoon Tea areas and all related to bar operations.
Hours and Benefits
This is a 40hr contract.
The Salary package consisting of a £35k base salary, 10% bonus, and £5k in guarenteed Service Charge.
