The Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing day-to-day professional HR support and policy administration relating to all phases of the employee life cycle (e.g. hiring, training, employee relations) plus HR business partner support such as organization design, talent planning and talent management to the NA Business Unit Manager. Ensuring we have the right people, with the right skills, in the right place at the right time.
Responsibilities:
Act as a trusted Business Partner to provide human resources expertise and analytical support in all aspects of the Human Resources function. Compile and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement as well as prepare regular reports for management on HR-related activities.
Develop and implement operational and strategic HR practices to enable a best-in-class employee experience. Champion various employee engagement programs such as the United Way Campaign, Junior Achievement, Employee Wellness and Health Screenings, Open Enrollment, and ITW Employee Resource Groups to ensure a positive, engaging, and supportive workplace.
Drive and facilitate the annual talent & performance management processes. Help identify development opportunities for talent within the business unit and track progress on development action plans.
Engage with the management team and develop recruitment strategies for current and future vacancies. Support and maintain organization’s staffing through effective recruiting and interviewing processes. Build a strong pipeline of talent to ensure a diverse high performing organization.
Oversee the bi-weekly payroll function for all exempt and non-exempt employees across the organization. Ensure compliance with various ITW payroll policies, processes, deadlines, and documentation.
Identify, design, and deploy training and mentoring programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities and to promote employee engagement.
Ensure Loma systems remains compliant implementing HR policies and procedures that comply with federal and state laws.
Facilitate, counsel and coach managers and employees to resolution regarding employee relations issues including, but not limited to complaints, grievances, and allegations of improper conduct.
Actively participate in organizational Health & Safety activities as they relate to employee training, safety guidelines and procedures.
