ALM Testing Manager

As a Barclays ALM Testing Manager, you will have an exciting chance to join our team and be responsible for driving on the overall testing function for the team, managing up to 10 colleagues. It will be your responsibility to manage, execute and plan all aspects of the testing plan while liaising with relevant teams of business analysts, product owners and development leads.

What will you be doing?
• Collaborating with development teams, business analysts & end users to design & execute rigorous test plans
• Maintaining & managing testing environments to ensure they are fit for purpose
• Supporting all testing activities across the full software development life cycle
• Participating in agile ceremonies to provide valuable testing insight & input into the project
• Championing best practices and push for excellence the quality of the product being shipped
• Delivering nonfunctional testing (e.g. Performance Testing)
What we’re looking for:
• Significant experience in designing & executing functional & nonfunctional testing
• Experience in coordinating system integration testing across multiple applications
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Degree in numerate subject (e.g. maths, computer science etc)
• Prior working experience in Treasury/Finance domains
• Experience working in an Agile development environment

Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997. This state-of-the art energy efficient building holds up to 2,500 staff. The office location is perfect for travel from the midlands and London alike as we are based just off the A45, it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
