Service Desk Engineer - Leeds - £28 - 35K
An established client of ours in the Technology sector are looking for a IT Team Leader to join their internal IT department, on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for Responsible for providing first class IT helpdesk support to our customers, as well as assisting and leading a variety of internal and client projects.
This is an office based role in their Leeds office.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Identifying and troubleshooting hardware & software issues both remotely and in person
Working pro-actively with the team to effectively manage multiple open cases;responding within agreed timescales and managing responses effectively.
Taking ownership of user problems and being proactive when dealing with userissues
Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applicationsusing automation and ensuring internal documentation is maintained.
Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks by responding toalerts as well as proactively reviewing client systems as directed in order to ensure best service for customers.
Talking clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues.
Providing administrative support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
Client site visits to support project work and deliver technical resolutions whenrequired.
Supporting the roll-out of new equipment and applications both internally and for our clients.
Identifying and suggesting process improvements and new ways of working a well as recommending changes to working practices to the benefit of all
Interacting with clients in a clear and consistent manner through our PSA tool and recording your time as appropriate.This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate IT Team Lead to join a successful organisation.
