Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join an expanding business based in York. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for various duties including stock management, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining the overall organisation of the warehouse. This is a full-time permanent position for the right candidate.
Duties:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials in designated areas
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare shipments by packing items securely and labelling them appropriately
- Perform general housekeeping duties to keep the warehouse clean and organized
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferred
- Knowledge of picking, packing, and shipping/receiving procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Effective communication skills to interact with co-workers and supervisors
You must be able to work at fast pace in (sometimes) a physically demanding role
Working Monday - Friday 8.30-17.15, 40 hours per week the pay is £23,795
