Hire Controller required by Tool and Equipment Hire Centre based in Warminster, Wiltshire. Competitive Salary offered.
Supplying everything from the smallest power tool, carpet cleaner or floor sander up to a 3 ton excavator or dumper, we pride ourselves on our service and the quality of our equipment. Our busy Hire centre in Warminster is now looking for an enthusiastic Hire Controller to join their team.
The successful candidate will working on a hire desk dealing with the day-to-day running of a Tool Hire Centre, this will include answering the phone, taking bookings, serving customers, using a computer and booking out hire equipment.
You will also be required to test equipment, ensuring it is ready to hire and there is an opportunity for someone with mechanical knowledge to service equipment and complete repairs on small hire items.
Other duties will include dealing with the day-to-day running of the hire desk as well as helping to run the tool hire centre.
As part of the day-to-day job, you will be required to deliver some items on occasion.
This is a hands-on job which will require the successful candidate to help load and unload customers vehicles, but rest assured all training would be provided.
