Position: Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Location: Wellingborough
Hours - Mon - Friday (Standard Office Hours with lunchtime Friday Finish)
Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Electro Mechanical Assembler to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in Wellingborough.
Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to secure a Electro Mechanical Assembler to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the factory's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.
Responsibilities:
Under limited supervision, assemble standard and bespoke MMD machines to specification and to schedule.
Assemble both electrical and pneumatic control cabinets.
Updating records in job/technical file.
Support engineering with recording of any changes to machine build.
Support to lab with any rework or modifications.
Dry testing of machines to ensure quality and performance
Experience Requirements:
Machine assembly knowledge and 3-5 years' experience.
Read controls and mechanical assembly drawings, machine specifications.
Mechanical and electrical skills, electronics, pneumatics & hydraulics
General problem-solving skills and practical aptitude
Ability to work as part of a team and display a willingness to learn and put skills into practice
Excellent communication
