Avanti Recruitment has partnered with a world leading provider of sub-sea communications technology, and we're looking for a systems engineer to join their cross-functional R+D team.
They're currently working on a brand new project which incorporates electronics, software, mechanical, and controls technologies and we're looking for someone who's experienced with top-level architecture definition, system partitioning, and performance budgeting.
The system you'll be helping to architect is 80% electronics, so you should come from an electronics background & have at least one project that you've taken from proof of concept stage, all the way through to release.
Any experience working on high-reliability/safety-critical, or high-voltage projects would be advantageous but not essential.
On offer is a salary of £60-75,000 + a strong benefits package including pension contribution up to 11%, 25 days holiday, car allowance, 10% bonus (targeted), and hybrid working.
