CLADDER

We are seeking a CLADDER to join a successful privately owned construction business based in BIRMINGHAM to work on a range of industrial & commercial builds from offices & retail space to new factory / steel frame builds, primarily within the West Midlands but also further afield.

Salary is entirely dependent on skills & experience and anticipated to be in the region of £35-45k. Core hours 8am to 5pm Mon to Fri plus potential overtime.

As a CLADDER you will be involved in:

* Installing & fitting traditional & composite cladding systems

* Including facades and curtain walling

* Working on industrial and commercial properties incl steel frames

* Receive and store material deliveries safely on site

* Some working away from home required

* Working as part of a multi skilled team on site

* Ensuring proper care is taken of tools, plant and equipment

* Adhering to company guidelines on safe working practices

The successful CLADDER will have:

* Experience in installing and fitting a range of different cladding systems

* Knowledge of facades, curtain walling or glazing,

* Worked on industrial & commercial properties

* A CSCS card

The following, while not essential would be advantageous:

* Roofing or other general building skills

* Own vehicle & tools viewed favourably

* Plant driving eg telehandlers

Although mainly working within the Midlands you will also be required to work away from home for which extra allowances are paid.

This position will suit an experienced CLADDING INSTALLER fed up with the uncertainty of working through agencies or subcontracting and being laid off due to bad weather or seasonal variations and instead seeking the security and regular income associated with working directly for a privately owned SME construction company with a healthy order book of industrial and commercial projects.

This is a permanent job, employed directly, all year round & paid weekly through payroll
