Group Tax Manager

Are you a corporation tax professional looking for a new and varied industry based group tax role? Do you enjoy tax projects and investigating / resolving legacy tax accounting issues? If so we have a really interesting role for a corporation tax professional to add real value and take overall responsibility for UK and overseas taxation compliance. This extremely hands on role will require an individual who can "wear many hats" and be the go to person for queries and resolving them using your own knowledge and "local" in country advisors. This role will be supported by a more junior corporate and indirect tax professional along with the wider financial accounting team however this role will be the visible taxation SME seen by the board and will be recognised as the "go to" therefore excellent communication skills, multi tasking ability and wide ranging technical knowledge will be needed. You do not need to be CTA qualified or even a qualified accountant as long as you have that depth of corporation tax knowledge you will be seen as an excellent addition to the team capable of adding immediate value. The day to day responsibilities will be wide reaching as will the project related work so this will be a busy role but in time extra support will be given once pinch points are identified. This position requires office presence once a week along with attending tax meetings with external auditors on a quarterly basis along with other members of the senior team.
