Hey how nice of you to be here. At Scania in Meppel, we are looking for a Logistics Assistant. At Scania in Meppel, plastic cab and chassis parts are painted. These parts are shipped to Scania's three European factories. To make sure the parts get to the right place on time, you as a Logistics Assistant are indispensable!

who are you

As a Logistics Assistant, you will process the required materials and supply the factory. You ensure that all materials are delivered to the right places and at the right times.

In addition, it is important that you recognise yourself in the following points:

• You already have some experience in logistics;
• You are open to possibly obtaining a lift and/or reach truck certificate;
• You have your own transport;
• You have a good command of the Dutch or Englisch language.

what will you do

As a Logistics Assistant, your shift always starts with a meeting. In the team, you discuss what the work for the day will be. You ensure that the various crates, parts and materials end up in the right place within the factory. You do this with extreme care and precision.

• Order picking
• Checking goods
• Transporting goods from point A to B

where will you work

Scania Meppel is part of an international company. The place is clean and orderly and they work according to a certain method. It employs men and women aged 18 to 65, coming from all parts of the world. Respect and safety are paramount.

• You are available to work 3-shifts (You may be assigned to 2-shifts);
• The morning shift starts at 06:00 and ends at 14:18
• Evening shift starts at 14:18 and ends at 22:36 (except Friday evening which ends at 23:00)
• The night shift starts at 22:36 and ends at 06:00 (with the exception of Sunday night this starts at 22:00)
