Field-Based Surveyor /Air Source Heat Pump System Designs

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field-Based Surveyor specialising in air source heat pump system designs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for visiting customer properties, conducting thorough surveys, and assessing the feasibility of installing air source heating systems. Your primary objective is to ensure accurate measurements, confirm adequate space for equipment installation, and utilise technology, such as an iPad, to create and submit designs.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AS A FIELD-BASED SURVEYOR
Site Surveys:
* Conduct on-site visits to customer properties to confirm the suitability for air source heat pump system installation.
* Take precise measurements of available space and relevant structures.
* Evaluate existing heating systems and infrastructure to determine compatibility with air source heat pump technology.
Feasibility Analysis:
* Analyse survey data to confirm the viability of installing air source heat pump systems.
* Assess potential challenges and recommend solutions to optimise system performance.
Customer Interaction:
* Communicate effectively with customers to explain the survey process and address any questions or concerns.
* Provide clear and concise information about the benefits and requirements of air source heat pump systems.
Design Creation:
* Utilise an iPad or similar technology to submit information to our design team for air source heat pump installations.
* Ensure that proposed locations adhere to industry standards, regulations, and company guidelines.
Collaboration:
* Work closely with internal teams, including engineers and project managers, to coordinate the implementation of proposed designs.
* Provide technical expertise and support during project.
Documentation and Reporting:
* Maintain accurate and organised records of survey data, measurements, and design specifications.
* Prepare comprehensive reports summarising survey findings and design recommendations.
WHAT WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE AS A FIELD-BASED SURVEYOR
Experience:
* Experience in conducting field surveys and designing air source heat pump systems.
* Familiarity with heating systems.
Skills:
* Proficient in using surveying tools and equipment.
* Skills in using digital tools such as iPads for design creation.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
Problem-solving Abilities:
* Ability to identify potential challenges and provide innovative solutions.
Adaptability:
* Comfortable working in a dynamic field environment and adapting to various customer property types.
Time Management:
* Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently and meet project deadlines.
