Decontamination Engineer (CSSD)
Salary £35,000 - £44,000
Location - South East London
Responsibilities:
Perform on-site repair, preventative maintenance, and asset management of CSSD equipment and Pathology autoclaves within designated hospital locations.
Collaborate with the site manager/team leader to achieve contract KPIs.
Complete administrative tasks associated with repairs and maintenance, adhering to company procedures and quality standards.
Provide customer support to minimize disruptions and build long-term relationships.
Task List:
Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on CSSD equipment and Pathology autoclaves.
Perform required tests to maintain equipment compliance with guidelines.
Execute repairs on CSSD equipment and Pathology autoclaves as needed.
Travel to various sites if necessary for maintenance.
Ensure safe working practices and exceed contract KPIs for customer satisfaction.
Support and train other Engineers as needed.
Manage spare part stock and liaise with suppliers.
Skills:
Familiarity with regulatory standards.
Proficiency in cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization techniques.
Strong organization and communication skills.
Knowledge of MS Office suite.
Experience:
Minimum experience in CSSD equipment maintenance.
Prior experience in the UK healthcare sector required
