Support Worker - Wadebridge

My client in Wadebridge is currently looking to recruit a Support Worker. Within this role you’ll be enabling service users with Autism and Learning disabilities to get the most out of life, supporting individuals to maintain relationships with family and friends and gain the ability to move on to more independent living when they’re ready. This is a responsible role which is very varied and sometimes challenging but will be exciting and fun!

The Role:

Developing positive working relationships with service users and your team.
Take responsibility for Full and accurate communication at handover.
Respect the individuality and confidentiality of each client
Model person centred practice and contribute to the induction and support of new and less experienced existing colleagues.
Undertake any other reasonable details as requested.
Must be able to drive, as you will be taking the service user into the community.
As a Support Worker - the following experience and characteristics are considered essential to the role:

You must be person centred & minimum of 12 months support worker experience (please not your application will not be considered if you don’t.)
Level 3 in Health & Social Care with care certificate training.
Will required Enhanced DBS.
Easily adaptable to new environments
Reliable & trustworthy
Eligible to work in the UK -Right to work.
UK driving licence.
