NTT Data is currently looking for a Senior Fullstack Java Developer for one of our clients in the public sector based in Brussels. This role will be performed in a hybrid mode.
Role
As part of the development and maintenance of career break products, the team is looking for a Senior Java Fullstack Developer with over 10 years' experience in Java.
As a senior member of the team, you will be working with various technologies such as Java 17, Spring Boot, Angular, as well as SOAP and REST APIs. In addition, you'll be using a wide range of tools such as IntelliJ, GIT and Jira. The applications are now hosted in a PaaS environment, which requires regular familiarity with tools such as Docker, OpenShift and Kubernetes.
Your proven experience in developing consumer products will be crucial in taking into account the particularities of this interaction between citizens and the company.
The quality of these products is of paramount importance because of their proximity to the public. You will therefore be involved in automated testing processes using tools such as Cypress and Cucumber, for which you will be able to demonstrate conclusive experience. In addition, your expertise will be called upon to design a robust technical architecture by encouraging the adoption of MicroServices (for which you can demonstrate conclusive experience).
You will be working in an Agile environment, where your practical experience and in-depth knowledge of the Scrum framework will play a key role in promoting agility within the team and the company. For this reason, a Professional Scrum Developer certification will be crucial. You will also embody values such as collaborative working, respect for others, openness to change, trust and professionalism. You'll need to have proven experience as a coach/tech lead. Your experience will help to make analysis more effective and relevant in this increasingly Agile environment. Working in the public sector is a unique environment, distinct from the private sector in many ways. Your previous proven experience in a public service will help you to adapt quickly to the company.
